Ethical Standards & Boundaries
How we keep coaching and metaphysical work grounded, respectful and safe.
1. Purpose of this page
This page sets out the ethical standards and boundaries that guide how Er Yuan Pte Ltd (“Er Yuan”, “we”, “our”, or “us”) delivers its services, communicates with clients, and uses coaching and metaphysical tools in practice.
It explains the principles that shape how this work is held: with care, honesty, respect, and clear boundaries. It should be read together with our Privacy Policy, Disclaimer, and Terms and Conditions, which also govern your relationship with Er Yuan.
2. The spirit of our work
At Er Yuan, the intention of this work is not to tell you what to do, take over your judgement, or create dependence. The intention is to offer a grounded space where you can think more clearly, understand yourself more deeply, and make wiser decisions in your real life.
Whether you come for career clarity, life clarity, coaching, or metaphysical support, the work is approached in a way that respects both practical reality and personal dignity. Er Yuan aims to support reflection, discernment, and responsible action — not certainty, control, or emotional dependence.
3. Your autonomy comes first
You remain responsible for your own decisions, actions, and next steps.
No coaching session, consultation, reading, recommendation, or interpretation provided by Er Yuan should be treated as a command, guarantee, or fixed prediction of what will happen. The role of this work is to help you see more clearly, not to hand over your agency.
Er Yuan does not claim authority over your life choices. Ethical practice requires that your autonomy, judgement, and consent remain central at all times.
4. Consent and choice matter
Coaching and reflective work should never feel forced, manipulative, or spiritually pressuring.
If metaphysical tools such as Bazi, Feng Shui, Tarot, or related systems are used, they are used with context, care, and relevance — not as a dramatic performance or a claim of certainty. You are always free to ask questions, decline an approach, pause the process, or decide that a certain tool is not right for you.
The aim is insight, not dependence. Er Yuan does not use coaching or metaphysical work to pressure, frighten, or control clients into a particular decision.
5. Practicality over fatalism
Er Yuan does not use coaching or metaphysical work to create fear, urgency, or the sense that your future is fixed.
Patterns, timing, symbolic systems, and interpretive frameworks may offer perspective, but they are never treated as the only truth. Your lived reality, responsibilities, values, and judgement remain central.
This work is intended to help you respond more wisely to life, not surrender your choice to a system, reading, or practitioner.
6. Clear scope of support
Er Yuan offers coaching, personal development support, and metaphysical consultations for reflection, self-awareness, and growth.
These services are not a substitute for medical care, psychiatric support, psychotherapy, legal advice, financial advice, crisis intervention, or any other regulated professional service. If a situation falls outside the appropriate scope of coaching or consultation, you may be encouraged to seek support from a qualified professional.
Where needed, the ethical choice may be to pause, decline, or discontinue work rather than continue beyond safe or appropriate boundaries.
7. Emotional safety and respect
This work should feel calm, respectful, and grounded.
You should never be shamed, coerced, fear-driven, or pushed into decisions that do not feel right for your situation. Honest reflection and challenge may be part of the process, but they should be offered with respect for your pace, your dignity, and what your real life can hold.
Er Yuan aims to create a space where serious questions can be explored with care, confidentiality, and good judgement.
8. No guarantees and no dependency
No ethical coach or practitioner can guarantee a personal, professional, financial, or emotional outcome.
Er Yuan does not promise certainty, perfect timing, or a specific result. The work may bring clarity, perspective, and better decision-making, but outcomes will always be shaped by many factors, including your choices and real-world circumstances.
This also means the work should not create emotional, spiritual, or decision-making dependency. If a service is no longer helping you think more clearly or act more responsibly, that should be examined honestly.
9. Integrity in how tools are used
Modern psychology-based approaches and traditional metaphysical systems are used as tools for reflection and understanding, not as instruments of control.
Where coaching methods such as NLP (Neuro-Linguistic Programming), Hypnotherapy, Timeline Therapy®, or Enneagram Profiling are used, they are applied within a personal development context. Where metaphysical systems are used, they are treated as interpretive lenses rather than scientific certainty.
In all cases, the goal is practical clarity, wiser judgement, and grounded next steps.
10. When further support is needed
Some situations require support beyond the scope of coaching or consultation.
If you are experiencing severe mental distress, a mental health crisis, medical emergency, suicidal thoughts, abuse, trauma requiring clinical care, or another high-risk situation, it is important to seek immediate help from the appropriate qualified professional or emergency service.
Er Yuan is committed to acting responsibly and will not knowingly continue work where doing so would be unsafe, inappropriate, or harmful.
