Bring clearer thinking and wiser conversations into your team.

Grounded workshops, talks and team programmes with Er Yuan in Singapore that help leaders and teams build self‑awareness, communicate more wisely and grow together with clarity.

Who these programmes are for

It’s for organisations, people leaders, teams and HR who want their people to think more clearly together, communicate more wisely and move through real pressures and questions — rather than just looking for a motivational boost.

These spaces work well when there is a genuine need to think together about direction, roles, timing or ways of working — for example during strategy shifts, leadership transitions, restructuring, culture work, or when a team has outgrown its old patterns.

They are also suitable for leaders and teams who want a grounded, east–west lens on timing, patterns and alignment in their work together, without turning the experience into spectacle or prediction.

If this sounds close to your organisation, let’s have a short conversation about what you’re facing.

How this differs
from typical
team development

Many team workshops focus on quick energy, surface-level skills or a one-off feel-good experience. Those can have their place, but they often fade once people return to real workloads, power dynamics and constraints.

In these programmes, we slow things down enough for leaders and teams to name what is actually happening, not just what sounds good. The work holds both practical realities — targets, restructurings, capacity, politics — and the quieter patterns shaping how people think, relate and decide together.

Rather than asking people to perform positivity, we create a grounded space where disagreements, fears and uncertainties can be spoken with respect. The aim is not a perfect offsite, but wiser, better-timed moves in the real system your people live and work in.

How we work
with your team

Most engagements start with a short conversation to understand what is really happening in your organisation — not only the stated objective, but the timing, history and constraints around it. From there, we co-design a format that fits your people and context, whether that is a focused leadership session, a series of team workshops, or a longer programme.

In the room, we blend grounded facilitation, coaching questions and structured reflection so people can speak honestly without turning the session into a free-for-all. Where appropriate, we bring in a quiet east–west lens on timing and patterns — always as a way to deepen understanding and language, never as spectacle or prediction.

The work is paced and contained. There is time to think, to listen and to work with real tensions, but also clear boundaries around what this space is and is not. People leave knowing what was named, what feels different, and what commitments have been made — not just with a folder of slides.

What your team
may leave with

Depending on the focus of the work, teams often leave with clearer language for what has been hard to name — about direction, roles, expectations or patterns in how they work together. That shared language makes it easier to talk about difficult topics without blaming or avoiding.

Leaders may leave with a more grounded sense of timing and trade-offs: when to move, when to wait, where to hold the line, and where to experiment. Teams may leave with a few practical agreements about how they want to speak, meet or decide differently in the next season, rather than a long list of ideals.

Perhaps most importantly, people often leave feeling more human with one another: having seen more of what others are carrying, and feeling a little less alone in their own questions. That does not remove pressure, but it can make the work more honest, kinder and more sustainable over time.

Proof and reassurance for organisations

Organisations often ask whether these spaces are safe, grounded and well held. Er Yuan is led by Lee Peh Gee, an ICI-accredited coach and former team leader who has worked with professionals navigating pressure, complexity and change for many years.

Her work blends deep psychological training, lived leadership experience and disciplined ways of working with east–west systems — always with clear boundaries, confidentiality and respect for organisational realities. You can read more about her credentials and approach on the About and Method pages, and hear directly from clients on the Testimonials page.

If you are considering a programme for your organisation or team, you are welcome to reach out for a short conversation first. We can explore together whether this work is the right fit, and if not, leave you with a clearer sense of what you may need instead.

If this sounds like the kind of support you’ve been looking for, you’re welcome to start with a short exploratory call to see whether the fit is right.

Your team deserves
